B Pharm has diversity in the courseworks you do as they cover clinical and industrial pharmacy related aspects. But the drawback is that you will have to waste almost 6months to 1 year between Master’s and Bachelor’s programs while Pharm D is a continuous 6 year intergrated-graduate program which is equivalent to M.Pharm in India. However, Pharm D is purely clinicial oriented and once you get into pharmD, you cannot move in Cognosy, Chemistry, Pharmaceutics or Analysis unless you do another Master’s. However, I know people who have opted for PhD in completely different areas abroad after completion of Pharm D from India.

Overall, choosing between Bpharm and Pharm D depends on how further you want your academics to proceed. Pharm D can save 1 year in between Bachelors and Masters for a person who is totally inclined towards clinical pharmacology.

Bachelor’s program will give you a degree in 4years. Pros and cons are there for both and it is totally dependent on the individual’s preferences. However, to be frank, Pharm D is better than doing MPharm Pharmacy practice as the number of years of clinical exposure you get is 3x more for the former.
